years and years after it's release, this album still contains many layers yet noticed. i think each song paints me and my own feelings in so many ways. i've listened to it in full everyday on the way to school, on the way to work, while i was on the street and had an ipod classic to keep sane, just everywhere. i bought the cd and have played that version in a boombox at my friend's over and over. grin
It's an amazing album, with a brilliant 60s Rock feel running through it, although I don't think you can put it in one single genre.
The music is very intricate, and I love the little details that you can hear, like Dan's fingers brushing along the strings of his guitar.
Little things like that add up to make an amazing sound.
Trying Not To Hide is probably my favourite of all of Dan's songs, it is utterly beautiful. RobbieHumbucker
With their blend of playfulness and graduate-level instrumentation, Dorcha deftly prove that improvisational zeal and conservatory-level precision aren't mutually exclusive. Bandcamp Album of the Day Nov 16, 2020
